Our family recipe is the kind of thing mum would make if she had the time, full of real tomatoes, lean beef mince and loads of finely chopped vegetables.
We slow cook it for over four hours to coax out maximum flavour, so all you have to do is add the pasta.

Just pop the frozen bag of bolognese into a pot of boiling water for around 25 minutes to heat through, and it is ready to use.
It’s as easy as cooking your pasta, swirling through the sauce and topping it with freshly grated parmesan or pecorino. Although our bolognese is designed to serve 4 people we often stretch it to 6 people on those unexpected days.

Char grill, bbq or toast a thick piece of sourdough. Spoon on enough bolognese to make your mouth water. Top with some shave parmesan or pecorino. Serve with a crispy green side salad.
